Home Lending Consumer Originations – Sales Strategy Support Director

Position Summary:

 

Lead Distribution Strategy and develop new ways for our Field and Centralized Sales teams to help more customers, whether they call, click or come into a branch. In addition, this role will ensure our Sales teams are equipped with innovative tools and resources that are being developed by our Transformation teams.

 

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 
  • Develop tailored distribution strategies for new products that are aligned to our broader strategic objectives and coherent across all distribution channels

    ·        Stand up a robust and repeatable go-to-market process for new products, including designing and defining product adoption and use by our Home Lending Advisors, Branch Bankers, and/or customers, as appropriate.  “Products” would include new tools and resources being developed by our Home Lending Transformation team

    ·        Understand how our product and tool set work with each other (e.g., where there are similarities and interactions), and how those interactions impact their distribution  

    ·        Build a strong stakeholder network across Home Lending and other CCB lines of business (e.g., Consumer Bank) that supports the development of a One Chase distribution strategy for our HL products.  In particular:

 
  • Work with our Product teams to understand and develop product use cases and stakeholder value propositions, to maximize adoption

  • Be aware of the broader strategic objectives in Consumer Bank with regard to branch banker roles and responsibilities, and how these impact our distribution strategy

  • Work with Home Lending Sales Administration, Consumer Bank National Sales, and our field and centralized salesforce to support change management and employee readiness, drive effective usage and optimization of new products, as well as track, report, and monitor distribution effectiveness

  • Adhere to all legal, compliance, and risk control requirements around new process/product launches and change management

    ·        Overall, deliver a superior customer experience through our distribution strategy and drive incremental funded volume from our new product suite

Knowledge and Experience:


  • 10 years of management experience within the Financial and/or Mortgage industry is required

  • Strong knowledge of mortgage originations experience preferred

  • Management of a large scale, geographically dispersed business is preferred

  • Proven ability to innovate, lead and execute at all levels of management

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience; Advanced degree a plus 

  • Knowledge of capacity planning and work volume forecasting experience

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and functional partners to adopt and sustain change
