This position is primarily responsible for coordinating and managing reporting and controls for external regulatory (FRB, OCC, etc.) reports. The position will be responsible for the relationship with senior executives in various lines of business, line of business partners to understand and documentation requirements for external information. You will interact with the line of business requesters, the applicable operational representatives and various project team members (Data Management Council, MIS and IT and Home Lending Risk) in order to create and analyze external Home Lending Reports.  Additionally, the individual will be required to understand the Home Lending business as well as regulatory requirements while maintaining a strong control mindset to effectively evaluate and analyze the data included in the reports in relation to the business results and other externally reported information.

  • Supports Home Lending Regulatory & Contractual Reporting
    • Responsible for the coordination, governance and documentation associated with the associated regulatory reports
    • Coordinate business cases required for reporting projects
    • Enhance controls, documentation and governance of all aspects of the CCAR FR Y-14M, including but not limited to change control documentation, full review of user tools, standard operating procedures, manual adjustments and secondary reviews
    • Coordination of the attestation efforts for monthly reporting as well as the CCAR CFO Attestation Program (CCAP)
  • Partnership and coordination on the following:
  • Control / Audit agenda (including action plan end-to-end processes)

  • Tracking / Reporting of the analytics agenda

  • Develop scorecards for CCAR FR Y-14M program management team’s involvement in firmwide initiatives and internal projects

  • Issue management
    • Responsible for gathering, interpreting, and managing issues related to reporting requirements for the FR Y-14M (Schedules A, B & C),
    • Manage a small team of individuals responsible for the overall administrative and strategic issue management process
  • Coordination of reporting activities to ensure consistency across external reporting where possible
  • Ability to ‘matrix’ manage
Specific Responsibilities
  • Aid in prioritization of issues for the Data Analytics team

  • Work with other teams  (IT, Data Stewards & Risk etc.) to identify data issues and improve data quality for the FR Y-14M

  • Preparation of various reporting metrics for inclusion in presentations to Executive Steering Committee and Management

Specific Skills

  • Able to comprehend both the reporting requirements and the controls needed for successful report delivery

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills are critical

  • Serve as a process expert for a defined functional area, which includes: 

    • Managing controls, documentation processes (including RCSAs)

    • Ensuring timely opening / closure of issues

    • Cross-Functional Control Issues







  • 5+  years of Process Improvement, or Project Management Experience

  • Strong communication (oral and written) skills across all levels of management

  • Strong judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, fact based, has the courage to ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo and manage multiple tasks simultaneously  

  • Works collaboratively in an ever-changing business environment

  • Experience with ALM, JIRA, SQL is preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas), Word, and Power Point (required)  

  • Tableau experience is preferred
  • Mortgage Banking experience preferred
