Software Engineering Lead

Job Description

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:


 8+ years software engineering experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical field with preferred focus on Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Must have excellent analytical, technical, and oral communication skills
    Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated team player.  Must possess the ability to research and resolve issues independently while working across teams to acquire needed information
  • Ability to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Partner with OCS scrum teams and UAT on a daily basis to remove testing impediments in lower test environment, environment readiness, tracking planned and unplanned outages
  • Attending CCB lower environment management workgroup daily status call to remove environment impediments and bring outage awareness back to OCS
  • Work closely with OPT Servicing Quality Leads (both IT and UAT) to bring in one view everyday on lower region defects and engage co-suppliers to identify root cause/resolution
  • Work closely with scrum team to understand current practices testing (In-Sprint, Regression and UAT), then help our teams mature with CQO standards and practices
  • Work closely with OCS Scrum teams on test automation (health check, regression)
  • Represent OCS on CCB lower environment management workgroup strategic ceremonies, so we can have a voice in that forum, then we can be prepared for long term release planning
