The Equities Derivatives Group (EDG) provides structuring and trading services on equity-based derivatives products to a broad range of clients. EDG is the primary risk manager of derivative transactions in the Equities division and trades both linear and non-linear products. EDG consists of the Exotics, Flow, Delta One, Financing, Corporate Derivatives and Convertible Bonds businesses. The Exotics desk focuses on client facilitation of exotics OTC option trades as well as the issuance of structured notes with exotics equity and hybrid underliers. The Flow desk trades vanilla equity volatility products, including listed options, vanilla OTC’s and volatility swaps, and light exotic OTC’s. The Delta One desk trades delta one products, including equity swaps, futures, and option pairs, as well as providing market making and financing for ETF’s. The Corporates desk caters to corporate clients and Hedge Funds, offering them bespoke OTC derivatives and financing transactions. The Financing desk provides financing to clients (eg Margin Loans and VFNs) with Equity collateral. The Convertible trading desks primary function is market making in Convertible bonds.
The desks focus on North America, with a primary focus on the United States, but can, from time to time, encompass global markets.
