The Business and Commercial Digital team focuses on initiatives for Business Banking and Commercial Banking clients across these lines of business as well as across Card Services and Merchant Services. The group consists of product managers that partner with developers, designers, marketers, and project support and operations staff.


Job Description:

We are undertaking an aggressive digital transformation agenda by building on the success of our current mobile and online service offerings to expand further into the API products space. Our API strategy is key to delivering our mission. Through the power of APIs, we aim to enable highly personalized financial services delivery and real time experiences across both Chase and 3rd party digital properties.

The BCB (Business & Commercial Banking) Digital Product team is seeking a qualified API Product Manager responsible for further developing and executing the BCB API Strategy. The work will involve establishing industry best practices for APIs, competitive research and analysis, go-to market strategy, identification of new API product opportunities, and ownership of the build of strategic APIs from design to deployment. This will involve deep partnership with different area product groups, tech teams and design teams.


Primary Responsibilities:
• Serve as a cross-functional leader to collaborate with other product teams, design, engineering and lines of business to drive new product initiatives
• Develop products and services that deliver innovative experiences and at the same time remove friction from the banking process
• Define new product feature epics and stories working collaboratively with business, design and engineering teams to ensure delivery of product vision and roadmap
• Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives
• Create concise, compelling content to present and sell concepts through to senior management 

• 5 to 7 years of experience in product management, technology and / or Agile software development
• Experience working with APIs (i.e. either consuming APIs or producing APIs
• Proven success in collaborating and driving decisions with multiple stakeholders, including team members across product, technology and design as well as business development
• Experience with API products and tools is preferred
• Strong understanding of product and software development and the ability to work in an Agile environment
• Ability to work autonomously to successfully meet goals within expected timelines and with minimal supervision
