Commercial Card, Salesforce Business Analyst-Associate

Job Description

The Salesforce Business Analyst will be a key contributor in developing and delivering strategies to support our client sales and relationship management stakeholders by promoting focus on the right clients and by providing effective tools to facilitate healthy client relationships.  This role is perfect for someone who is innovative, strategic, customer-focused, and can drive change.  Successful candidates have a proven track record in developing strategies, assessing business needs and partnering cross functionally to deliver solutions within Salesforce.  

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop customized solutions within Salesforce Salesforce to support Commercial Card and cross J.P. Morgan line of business functions, meet project objectives, stakeholder requirements and company goals.
  • Manage an existing instance of Salesforce Salesforce supporting System Administrator, Delivery Manager, Compliance and/or Information Owner responsibilities. 
  • Support Commercial Card Sales and Relationship Management Partnerships and Business Strategies that includes ongoing leadership of strategic projects and consistent communication management with Commercial Card internal and line of business partners.
  • Lead cross-functional projects that develop tools and processes to:  1) enable productivity and performance; 2) facilitate client interaction, including relevant outreach to Commercial Card clients; 3) identify best practices and create ways to make those accessible to all users; and, 4) bring to life client performance reporting, program insights, and growth opportunities.
  • Communicate cross-functionally and align with partners to understand their needs and execute strategies to grow profitable relationships across the business.

You will play a key role in enabling the sales and relationship management teams by delivering improvements to our sales pipeline and activity tracking system. This will accelerate spend, capture critical sales activity touches and ultimately create a more disciplined and productive approach to managing our client portfolio. You are responsible for the delivery of insights to leadership to enable business planning, support Sales and Relationship Management performance, and drive portfolio growth initiatives. You will lead in close collaboration with product, marketing, training, analytics, technology, compliance and our banking partners. 


  • 2 – 3 years of experience working in Salesforce Salesforce as an administrator or developer
  • Experience in Salesforce Lightning and Sales or Service Cloud
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining and improving an instance of Salesforce Salesforce through organizational change, process builder and other native configuration tools.
  • Ability to quickly analyze existing processes and develop methodologies to automate and report against those processes in a Salesforce Salesforce environment
  • Champion of change—proven track record of assessing the big picture, organizing thoughts and a plan of action, driving change through others
  • Demonstrated experience in successful managing intricate and evolving projects through demanding timelines
  • Track record of delivery and results—especially in transformative environments where new processes/structures need creation
  • Strong leadership and relationship skills, highly collaborative - can build rapport and credibility quickly across all levels of the organization. Comfortable driving results through cross-functional teams, and with decision makers.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint experience.


  • Ability to design data flows, create dashboards and perform analytics in Einstein Analytics
  • Exposure to Apptus X-Author (for data loads)
  • Exposure to Community Cloud
  • Exposure to initiatives that supported data integration between Salesforce and other systems
  • Experience with Agile product delivery
  • Commercial card sales industry experience including sales process improvement, strategy development and/or portfolio management
  • Able to travel up to 20%
