Job Description

I. Role objective:

Are you fascinated about managing a project which has got geographically dispersed team, challenging delivery timeline and coordinating between Partners/Stakeholders then reach out to us!

Team you work for: Global Cloud Connect (GCC) -- Integration Development Team
(Part of MNC Global Connectivity Team)

As a Project Manager of the Integration Development Team, you are:

* Support, shepherd and mentor the team to build partner templates & configuration of interfaces between HR systems of our multinational Partner and payroll platforms of our partner network.
* Supporting and providing insight into the analysis of process-related data to improve the quality of the services delivered and their automation.
* Frequently updating all the interested parties on the project status.
* Functionally and administratively reports to Engineering Manager.

II. Responsibilities:

* Team's Responsibilities

o The GCC-IDT Team Releasing and maintaining the Partner & Integration Templates at Product level.
o Functional solution of Connectivity between GCC and different HR Systems like:
Vantage etc.
o Making sure all the activities related to the analysis, design, testing and releasing the solution at Product level are executed accordingly the MNC Product Standards and Procedures.

* Your Responsibilities

As a Project Manager executes the activities interacting with:
Internal ADP Clients: Implementation Teams (mainly with the Connectivity Project Managers), Client Support Teams.
Internal ADP Providers: GCC Development Teams.
the internal GCC Country Solution Architects Team based in Chennai that is working on the tasks assigned by GCC Development Team (mainly for configuring, testing and releasing the GCC Partner Integration templates).
o Work Hours: April to October 3.00 PM to 11.30 PM and November to March 4.00 PM to 12.30 PM. (to cover CET and EST time zone)
o Frequently review and suggest changes to the process and work methodology followed in the department.
o Prepare/understand process flow diagrams and standards applied to satisfy business requirements.
o Take Complete responsible in working on projects as with minimum guidance from supervisors.
o Tasks can vary from customising the in-house web application to suit partner's processes, branding, demonstration of the process built for the partners across the globe, querying databases and / or migrating employee related data.
o Help resolve impediments keeping the team from performing, especially those arising outside the team, using informal and formal channels of communication.
o Protect the team from external interference and interruptions, raise the risks to appropriate stakeholders
o Build an inclusive, collaborative, trusting team environment.
o Facilitate the various Scrum events and discussions, making sure conditions are conducive to cooperation and communication, enforce time boxes to retain focus and clarity.
o Interact with Scrum Masters, Leads and Project Managers for other teams where there is a need to coordinate and collaborate on delivery for common objectives.
o Make sure the capacity of the team is transparent so they do not get overloaded and can operate at a sustainable pace.
o Capture and present empirical data to identify trends, project end-dates and adjust forecasts.
o Identify, monitor and manage risks to the sprint in collaboration with the Connectivity Managers, assigning sufficient resources and time to address the risks throughout the project.
o Monitor and report Sprint Performance for Governance and Stakeholder needs, executing Change Control when necessary.
o Oversee the delivery of Business Value and Product Quality to ensure that the product increments created are 'fit for purpose'.
o Work with the business to create, communicate and keep up to date the Release Plan, and ensure that it is in alignment with the Sprint Plans.
o Facilitates the SCRUM Process by coordinating with Agile Coach and Manager.
o Ensuring all work conforms to ADP's Agile Software Development Process & Principles.
o Work closely with the Integration Developers, Product Owners, Engineering Mangers and Stakeholders to gather and track the progress of the project.
o Work closely with the Architecture team to ensure Architectural Integrity and Product Quality
o Work closely with other teams within R&D and the Engineering Manger to ensure the quality of the SPRINT deliverables.
o Provide periodic status review report to Management and highlight the issues on-time to the right forum that will affect the quality/delivery of the Product.
o Actively contribute to ongoing Agile Software Development Process, Procedures and Best Practices.
o Record and track the feedback of SCRUM Retrospectives to closure to improve the effectiveness of SCRUM team.
o Improve the overall velocity and productivity of the team by building self-organized team.
o Working closely with partner engagement manager on project plan and change management
o Escalation of red/yellow flags on status and/or urgent issues
o Any additional tasks assigned by the Engineering Manager.

III. Qualifications:

1. Experience/Skills:

* Overall 9 - 12 years of IT experience in a global product based company involving in complete SDLC of the product development particularly using Agile SCRUM methodology.
* Minimum 3+ Years of experience in handling one or more SCRUM teams, Project Management in Agile based Product Development environment, virtual team co-ordination with hands-on solution delivery experience.
* Technician in information technologies.
* Coordination skills and project management.
* MS Excel advanced user.
* Well-organized and methodical. Exquisite attention to detail.
* International exposure, ability to work in a multinational environment.
* Perfect command of English language. Additional languages are a plus.
* Knowledge of HCM Processes, mainly Payroll related
* Working experience in technical payroll environments is highly valued.
* Experience on interfacing/integrating systems/applications
* Previous experience on SAP HR and Agile methodology are appreciated

2. Education:

* Engineering graduates or Post graduates in Computer Science / Computer Applications.
* SCRUM Master Certification is a plus.
* Must have excellent logical, problem solving and verbal communication skills

3. Interpersonal Skills:

* Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of partners and staff from different locations.
* Self-Motivated, team player actions and results oriented.
* Ability to work under tight project deadlines.
* Excellent English abilities, spoken and written.
