Marketing Manager, Prospect Database and Direct Mail Acquisition Capabilities


Manages the development of new and existing digital capabilities in support of customer acquisitions for Chase Card Services. Responsibilities begin with understanding the strategy, goals, and business requirements of the business teams and extends through the successful implementation and ongoing enhancement of features and underlying capabilities. The person in this role will have frequent interaction with senior management and strategic business partners and must be effective in working with employees at all levels.

The ideal candidate must be able to effectively influence and manage the work of both internal and external teams; should have considerable experience delivering digital solutions for both web and mobile platform; have some knowledge and/or experience with credit underwriting, have working knowledge and passion for emerging technologies and is customer experience focused.    

Lead prospect database infrastructure and direct mail capabilities

  • Manages vendor infrastructure for Card Acquisition team.  These capabilities include prospecting database, model development environment, and campaign activation platforms.

  • Manage direct mail capabilities for all Card Services.  This includes new data assessment and enable ML model development and implementations.

  • Responsible for creating capabilities roadmap and innovation to support card acquisitions growth. This includes partnering with cross line-of-business marketing teams and analytics to drive prioritization of key capabilities.

  • Develop innovative capabilities with third parties that help enable our Chase branded and cobrand partner product teams achieve their business and growth objectives.

  • Overall accountability for execution of digital and traditional marketing capabilities in support of our growth, innovation and customer experience objectives for Card Services.

  • Collaborate and partner with all internal and external stakeholders to deliver against the defined roadmap and marketing plans.

  • Manage multiple initiatives from inception to completion under concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Work closely with a variety of vendors and partners to drive innovation and growth
  • 5+ years digital marketing/product development experience
  • Experience working in/with an agile development team
  • Some experience working with bureaus and/or bureau sourced data
  • Excellent executive level communication skills, both oral and written 
  • Ability to influence and interact effectively at all levels of management both internally and externally with our partners and vendors.
