The Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Talent organization is responsible for the acquisition and ongoing development of the CCB workforce at all levels and includes the Recruiting, Talent Development & Readiness, and Workforce Planning functions.  The team’s mission is to give CCB a competitive advantage through a talented and diverse workforce by continuously attracting the best people, investing in their development, and helping them to perform at their best.


The Workforce Management team within the Talent organization is focused on developing scalable strategies for driving and managing large-scale or complex changes to CCB’s workforce and talent strategy, including HR Capacity Planning; Talent Redeployment & Reskilling; HR Program Management & Strategy; Communications & Change Readiness and Talent Analysis & Reporting. The team partners with the lines of business and functional groups to design and execute on these strategies. Robust, coordinated workforce planning disciplines that are proactive & consultative rather than reactive & transactional in nature are key to the success of CCB’s overall Talent Mission.


The Workforce Management VP will own the Capacity Planning process across Consumer & Community Banking and work to automate the existing process in partnership with the business process owners and the Recruiting teams. Engage all businesses to build dashboards that could be used by all stakeholders to manage this process and ensure current data is available for all stakeholders. This role will improve the accuracy and longevity of the forward looking view of hiring across Consumer & Community Banking.


 This role will partner with the Talent Reassignment manager to match Talent Reassignment employees into future openings to increase the placement of employees transitioning through the Talent Reassignment process. This role will be a key partner to the Talent Reassignment team to implement new strategies to improve placement results and business outcomes. This role will also work across several projects and meaningfully contribute to the Workforce Planning team’s broader book of work by working to solve business problems, draw insights from data analytics, and develop and present work with key stakeholders on a variety of projects by partnering seamlessly with HR Business Partners and specialist partners and business stakeholders to produce results.

The successful candidate will:


·Lead cross-business projects that will require influencing business partners
·Using strong analytical skills to use data to build presentations that are data driven to make key recommendations

Day-to-day responsibilities will vary based on the team’s always-evolving priorities, but will make a direct impact on Chase’s mission to ensure that we have best-in-class people practices in place, resulting in a competitive advantage through a talented, diverse, and inclusive workplace. Examples include headcount analysis; creating forward-looking views of hiring demand and workforce reduction to identify opportunities for large-scale talent mobilization; and developing scalable, data-driven plans to reskill talent.


·5-7 years business, strategy or HR experience, with strong analytical/reporting components 
·Strong Excel skills a must and experience with Business Objects, Access required
·Experience with Tableau, and/or other dashboarding tools required.
·Analytical mindset – critical thinking skills; ability to manipulate and translate complex data sets and summarize key findings succinctly
·Systems analysis – ability to quickly understand how databases, systems and processes work, consistently identifying efficiencies and improvements, and making the most of the information available
·Attention to detail – ability to assess high level trends while also identifying and understanding nuances
·Business/client-centric orientation – strong client focus, with a consistent awareness of how business outcomes are tied to the HR book of work; ability to identify problems and consultatively develop approaches to addressing them
·Executive communications – experience creating executive presentations using data to support recommendations and tell a clear story; ability to communicate

              data and trends simply and concisely

·Ability to think beyond current business requirements and anticipate future needs
·Self-starter who balances when to escalate and when to problem-solve self-sufficiently
