Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others


CCB Risk Management is seeking a highly motivated individual that can help drive Business Banking Risk reporting to the next level. The Risk Reporting and Analytics Associate will be responsible for Business Banking and CCB wide reporting, supporting various key initiatives for risk reporting and data for Line of Businesses. This individual will demonstrate strong people management skills, analytic & problem solving skills, superior work ethics, and leverage sound judgment to effectively work in a fast pace and dynamic environment.  Additionally, this individual will possess the ability to work with and synthesize large amounts of data into actionable analysis and provide a point of view to CRO level leadership. This will include:

  • Building the ‘next generation’ suite of risk reporting,

  • Executing the end to end reporting and data standards resulting from the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) principles and ensuring the report delivery processes and data validation processes meet business needs.

  • Developing robust data and reporting tools for senior management (i.e. Tableau, Cognos, SAS),

  • Identify and automate production routines to improve efficiency,

  • Expanding analytic and data capability for Wholesale banking and CCB Wide LOB’s

  • Understands the SDLC and quality assurance concepts, metrics, methodologies and documentation standards.


The candidate must be highly-motivated and have the ability to deal with ambiguity as needed, be flexible to work during the evening shift and be comfortable dealing with a fast-paced, priority-driven environment.

Qualifications
  • Strong people management, project management, communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills, writing, and presentation skills

  • Requires 1-2 years of Report development and Reporting execution experience

  • Expertise in SQL, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence concepts
  • Experience with SQL, SAS, and BI Reporting Tools (Tableau/Cognos) is preferred
  • Knowledge of consumer risk management and governance concepts preferred
  • CCB Line of Business and/or US retail financial services business process and procedure knowledge preferred

  • 4 years Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Computer Science, Finance/Economics or Business preferred
