Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others

 

Chase Business Banking (BB), part of the Consumer & Community Banking line of business, serves more than 2,000,000 small business customers nationally, with more than $20 billion in loans.  

 

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for controls related to access administration, provisioning and management of shared drives, SharePoint and credit authority processes.
  • Manage changes to SharePoint sites and create new sites as needed in support of the broader Business Banking Risk team.
  • Evaluate clients escalated for High Risk Sectors or Reputation Risk for review with the Wholesale RRO and BB CRO.
  • Manage communication of, and create decks and reporting on a monthly basis to summarize cases
  • Assist with quarterly and annual credit authority recertification of Business Banking Risk employees which includes evaluation of data and reporting to management and groups who support credit authority. 
  • Assist with deck creation for communication to senior leaders on various subject matter.
  • Participate in project related work as needed and review business banking NBIAs for reputation risk concerns.
  • Review account activity and make recommendations for account closure to prevent further loss.

  • B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years Risk, AML/KYC, audit  or other related experience in banking or financial services industry preferred
  • 3+ years in a wholesale business, ideally related to client or industry reviews.  And an Intermediate understanding of Small Business banking
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong skills in time management, problem solving, written and oral communication.
  • Proven ability to be able to multi task, complete projects on time and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Works well individually, and in teams, shares information, supports colleagues and encourages participation.
  • Strong ability to quickly comprehend information from written documentation, process mapping, and system training overviews
  • Significant experience with Microsoft products, specifically SharePoint,  Access & PowerPoint
