It is made up of various sub-lines of business: Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Chase Wealth Management, Card Services, Merchant Services, Auto Finance, and Home Lending. 


SEC and Regulatory Reporting for the Consumer & Community Banking line of business.  Support regulatory reporting requirements including schedule preparation, variance and trend analysis and validation of source information and conformance to Regulatory Instructions for the CCB line of Business. 
  • Sourcing, compiling and validating financial information to be included in the Firm’s SEC and Regulatory filings, quarterly earnings release documents, as well as various senior management presentations
  • Analyzing the Firm’s externally reported information (SEC and Regulatory filings, earnings materials, etc.) and supporting reporting requirements including schedule preparation, variance and trend analysis, validation of source information and conformity with applicable GAAP and regulatory guidance
  • Managing relationships with key contacts within CCB, including the CCB sub-lines of business Accounting and Finance teams as well as with Corporate Financial Reporting teams
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Participating in strategic initiatives around the regulatory reporting infrastructure, including testing and implementation, documentation of risks and controls and general improvements to reporting functionality
  • Participating in projects to transition manual process to system solutions and engage in data quality analysis of core data elements
  • Individual may also assist with providing supporting information, as required, to external auditors and/or regulatory authorities



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline; public accounting experience a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience; previous financial services industry experience a plus
  • Ability to work alone and in a team setting
  • Experience in:
    o    preparing and reviewing financial statements
    o    GAAP and/or regulatory accounting

  • Experience working in an environment that requires attention to detail and adherence to strict rules and standards
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple responsibilities within tight, predetermined deadlines is essential
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point; knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and Business Objects a plus
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data mining tools is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to compile and present complex information in a clear and concise fashion to management
  • Flexible – work outside of normal business hours will be necessary on a periodic basis
