The successful candidate is a leader who thinks holistically about both business and technology, and manages process oriented, large-scale initiatives in a dynamic environment. This strategic, results-oriented leader will help manage Legal and Regulatory Changes, Privacy Initiatives, and other Regulatory Compliance efforts that impact the Digital online and mobile offerings as well as serve as the central point for governance and controls, partnering closely with the Digital Control and Compliance organizations. The ideal candidate is a structured, highly-organized individual who can flexibly adapt plans for changing realities, and has superior influencing / relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine and document intended business outcomes and develop detailed Controls strategies ensuring compliance with applicable regulations that impact the Digital LOB
  • Develop / update process maps depicting how product features work from a business process perspective in partnership with Digital Product Owners and Technical Architects
  • Maintain and grow appropriate Governance oversight throughout program execution
  • Manage and control the Legal and Regulatory Change Management (LRCM) scope, risk management plans and change management processes
  • Provide executive reporting on program health and performance including progress against business outcomes
  • Interface with respective teams within and outside, build strong relationships and identify process improvements based on best practices
  • Drive consistency and efficiencies in routines and reporting across towers and across programs
  • Provide subject matter expertise in support of new Digital LRCM initiatives to ensure appropriate measures are built into the products to mitigate risk
  • Guides the team in defining future state, breaking future state into defined projects, and executing on those projects through delivery
  • Communicate effectively with senior management to resolve conflicts through broad based decision making with key stakeholders. Coordinate and track key deliverables across different teams, as appropriate
  • Assess the impact of Legal and Regulatory changes (Privacy, UDAAP, etc) on the business & technology operations, processes or procedures, and identify modifications needed. Provide transparency to Compliance, Controls, Risk, Legal Leads into the LOB preparedness for complying with regulatory change


Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relationship management, product management, and/or relevant experience
  • Demonstrated individual achievement with a proven track record of delivery, including of new projects
  • Understanding of analytics and associated measurement and reporting approaches
  • Experience in implementing legal and/or compliance requirements into business practices (processes & procedures) and conducting privacy, operational and/or technology risk assessments
  • Understanding of processes and information flows for business and operational units that manage customer, employee data and other confidential information
  • Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and capable of self-managing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view; with ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
  • Structured thinker, plus effective communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects and efforts according to business need and industry trends
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and perform with calmness under pressure
  • Passion, commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team
  • Experience with agile product development techniques and continuous integration philosophies and practices for speed-to-market is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Share Point is required
  • BA or BS in applicable field of study, with MS or MBA preferred
