The CCB Insights Team is leading a transformation of how we report and analyze information across all CCB businesses and functions.  The activities of this team include developing interactive dashboards for senior leadership and the supporting analytical community, analyzing cross line of business relationships and impacts, and analyzing consumer behaviors and the impact of the economy and competition on our business.  The CCB Insights Team partners closely with finance leadership, senior management, and subject matter experts across CCB to ensure successful implementation of tactical and strategic change efforts.  

This position will lead team efforts around analysis and dashboards at a macro level, will develop and guide efforts on new capabilities within dashboards and related technologies.  This person will also lead and mentor associates and analysts who will be developing Tableau dashboards and Alteryx workflows.  Examples of types of areas that this individual will lead analysis and dashboard development for include consumer spending and behaviors, macroeconomics, stress testing, and scenario/sensitivity analysis of financial projections.  Examples of capabilities will include working with the Technology Team in developing capabilities in the CCB Insights Portal, developing creative solutions for access management to create a more seamless experience for our users, and integrating dashboards with other technologies to improve consumption and enhance business processes. 

In this role you will be required to:

  • Develop Tableau dashboards and Alteryx workflows across several high priority areas
  • Analyze customer behaviors and business results to develop insights for the CCB Leadership Team
  • Work with key stakeholders (including business leaders, CFOs, and F&BM leadership) to determine requirements for new dashboards
  • Have and leverage a strong foundational knowledge of financials and financial metrics to build effective solutions that simplify, automate, and add value
  • Express creativity and ingenuity to transform how we see and understand data
  • Lead prioritization and planning for several work streams, including ensuring that estimates and timeframes for delivery are appropriate in our JIRA system
  • Work with Technology, MIS, Analytics Teams, and Finance Teams to develop an infrastructure to support dashboards that works efficiently and has strong controls
  • Partner effectively across Finance, Data & Analytics, Technology, and other organizations
  • Advanced knowledge and technical competency in Tableau and Alteryx
  • 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, data visualization, and/or data management projects, preferably in financial services domain
  • Flexible individual who can easily and efficiently transition across topics and disciplines
  • Creativity in solving problems and developing solutions
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and partners from a variety of business functions
  • A proven ability to take the initiative while building partnerships
  • Ability to define and track project deliveries through to implementation
