Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others


CCB Risk Modeling is a centralized team working across the CCB businesses to develop and improve risk models.  The team develops a range of models using logistic and Machine Learning techniques including: application scores, pricing models, customer strategy (balance transfer, line assignment), collections, CCAR loss forecasting and stress testing, and Fraud models.   


In this role you will focus on executive level reporting, communications, and coordinating completion of action items related to strategic planning, recurring deliverables and emerging issues, reporting to the Head of Model Strategy and Execution.  This role will interact directly with senior leaders both within and outside of Risk, as well as key business and support functions.


The successful candidate will excel at presentation, communication and problem solving, be detail oriented, self-motivated, confident and ready to work in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong writing, reporting and analytical skills and must execute the following objectives:

  • Manage executive summary reporting including business reviews, weekly updates, and Ad-Hoc requests for senior management

  • Develop executive management presentations for meetings, town halls and road shows

  • Ensure all periodic reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) and functional review processes are executed

  • Partner with other support functions to ensure completion of all requirements on behalf of the team (e.g., Learning & Development, HR, Finance, etc.)

  • Create and maintain controls across CCB Risk Modeling including management and maintenance of the business resiliency plan, SharePoint, and role based accesses

  • Establish communication across all teams within the organization in order to identify opportunities, resolve issues and provide updates on key project and team initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with peers inside and outside the organization and to ensure strong collaboration across teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical, problem resolution and decision-making skills
  • Superior judgment, team building, budgeting and presentation skills
  • Flexibility to work under continual deadline pressure required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Adaptability to deal with ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Ability to deal with conflict and multiple constituencies and manage multiple simultaneous objectives is imperative
