Southwest Airlines Acquisitions Marketing Manager

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for driving profitable customer growth for the Southwest Airlines Cobrand card across Chase digital channels including Chase Marketplace, affiliates and paid search.  The selected candidate will collaborate across Chase and Southwest teams to develop profitable offer strategies to increase new account volumes and differentiation in the market.  In addition, the candidate will leverage Chase capabilities across channels to drive personalization and increase prequalified and targeted high value offers.  This role will include leading and project managing key strategic initiatives across Chase and Southwest as well as problem identification and resolution. 

 

 

 Key focus areas:

  • Develop a robust understanding of the airline travel card market, deep knowledge of the Southwest customer wants/needs and ideas to drive increased penetration of the Southwest Consumer card across our SWA Rapid Rewards member base
  • Partner with Finance, Analytics and the Acquisition Center of Excellence to develop new and unique offer strategies to drive increased new account volumes, continued customer engagement and differentiation in the market
  • Partner across Chase and Southwest to leverage capabilities to drive personalization, increased prequalified and targeted high value offers
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the Partner to achieve goal alignment and develop marketing strategy and campaign execution for our Chase channels
  • Manage the on-going development and maintenance of all creative assets for respective channels
  • Utilize internal/external competitive insights, including reporting and analysis, to make ongoing target audience, process, and program recommendations
  • Drive efficiencies and increased conversions within Chase channels utilizing targeting capabilities.


 

 












 

 

Qualifications:

  • Seasoned professional (5+years) with product marketing, marketing execution and customer engagement experience. Credit Card marketing experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation in digital channels

  • Understanding of Segment P/L drivers and areas for improvement

  • Excellent relationship management skills with strong ability to influence others with experience managing partner or vendor relationships a plus
  • Self-starter, drive for results, effective at prioritizing and managing multiple complex initiatives concurrently
  • Strong collaborator with ability to influence across a matrixed organizational environment

  • Strong control mindset and understanding of internal processes, procedures and systems linked to campaign execution
  • Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Have a customer obsessed mindset to ensure exceptional customer experience and delivery
  • Some travel will be required
