Chase Freedom and Freedom Unlimited are the Chase branded products targeted towards the mass-affluent cash-back enthusiast.  As the largest portfolio in Chase Card Services, this role supports a diverse list of key initiatives to drive customer engagement and business growth through portfolio/pricing strategy and campaign management.

 

The Marketing VP will be responsible for key strategic initiatives that will drive both long term and short term growth and improve customer engagement for both Freedom products and Slate. This is a fast paced, dynamic role and will focus on engaging the customer holistically with Chase through key strategic initiatives.   

 

The VP will collaborate with experts from the Chase’s Centers of Excellence (ex: Customer Marketing Group, Retention, Marketing Services, Ultimate Rewards,  Risk & Analytics and Controls teams) to build strategies and execute.

 

Key areas of responsibilities include:

  • Create a vision and execute end-to-end marketing curriculum for high-value Mass Affluent customers (“Protect” segment)

  • Redesign the engagement curriculum for the customers within the first 15 months since acquisitions (“Low Tenure” segment) to prevent OS attrition post Intro

  • Create holistic learning agenda with Analytics, Finance and COE teams, structure tests and analyze results to maximize learnings and inform strategies.

  • Create and manage the marketing curriculum for ongoing Slate and Freedom Bundled offers

  • Work closely with internal partners to enable more trigger based actions, delivering personalization and email relevance across the entire Mass Affluent customer base. 

     

  • Lead customer experience and retention agenda for Mass Affluent with Customer Experience COE, to achieve NPS and JD Power targets and act as key partner on priority initiatives.
  • Serve as project lead for key projects and product migrations impacting the existing Mass Affluent portfolio

 

  • Serve as the lead for Mass Affluent Controls related items

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of marketing experience.
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver- ability to manage to P&L objectives
  • Strong communication skills: can articulate clearly the “so what” from data and make recommendations
  • Proactive, action-oriented and results-driven; can prioritize and manage multiple complex initiatives at the same time
  • Strong creative development skills
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
