As a Rewards and Benefits (RnB) Operations Process Manager for the Ultimate Rewards Platform, you will be responsible for managing a critical partner, vendor, project and/or key functionality associated with Rewards and Benefits. You will become an expert on the platform and play a critical role in Agile enhancements, large project initiatives, risk and process controls, and operations management and execution. You will work closely with the  RnB Product teams, which include Strategy, Business, Operations, IT, Design, Architecture, Marketing, Customer Experience and UAT.  You will also work outside the RnB Product with various teams across Chase Business,  Partnership, Digital, Legal, Global Technology, and other areas to understand our collective needs and execute against objectives that improve the platform, reduce risks and process gaps, and enhance the customer experience. Strong leadership, decision and organizational skills are needed to achieve business objectives, maintain strong controls and to ensure effective delivery of the desired end-to-end customer experience.
 
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in operations; partner, project, release or vendor management; and have experience leading both small and large customer-focused IT development projects to successful completion.   Experience working within an Agile framework is a plus.
 
The role will entail one or more of the below functions and may change as business needs and employee desires evolve.
 
 
Release and Project Management
  • Leadership and participation on agile product teams will require extensive interaction with other groups within Marketing, IT, Operations, Marketing Services and Vendors, as well as strong organization and project coordination skills
  • Serve as primary interface with Chase and vendor/partner PM's and technical resources driving and progressing agile backlog stories into production
  • Devise and create business requirements (Jira epics) supporting improvements to our product against our Objectives and Key Results.
  • Work with your Agile teams and vendor/partner to develop, review and approve internal and external (partner/vendor) functional requirements (Jira stories) necessary to meet the acceptance criteria tied to each epic with specific focus on enhancing the customer experience.
  • Manage and coordinate test activities including working with the testing team to develop test plans, provide final approval on plans and assist testers in identifying appropriate test scenarios
Vendor/Partner Operations Management
  • Assume vendor control and management responsibilities, including ensuring all performance criteria and service level agreements are met per contract.
  • End to end vendor budget mgmt, reconciliation. and invoice submission
  • Participation in Vendor contract reviews, updates and negotiations
  • Manage vendor IT and Cyber security risk items and any Third Party Oversight remediations required
Process Engineering and Improvements 
  • Create and/or modify procedure documentation to support new or changing business processes as a result of new functionality.
  • Design operational process maps and flows for new or existing functionality within Rewards
  • Recommend changes or enhancements to processes or tools that will impact deliverables, timelines, and productivity of the team

 

   
  • College degree required
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in an Operations, IT, Agile/Scrum or Business Project Management role
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills required, with ability to influence at senior levels of internal and external organizations.
  • Exceptional business acumen with outstanding relationship management skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability with propensity to delve into and understand complex technical issues
  • Must have the ability to be proactive with a strong bias for action, be naturally inquisitive, proven initiative, and have bias for continuous improvement of practices and processes
  • Strong inter-personal skills with ability to inspire and motivate the product team and instill confidence and trust within the business, operations and technology teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and address issues in a timely manner ensuring least impact on sprint timelines and overall risk
