What does the role involve?

In your role as Business Intelligence Analyst, you represent Business Excellence & Transformation Germany & Poland in partnering the business to develop the analytics capabilities and drive change management within the organization. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders on demand, translating business needs into analytics requirements and be the change agent to help steer business mindsets towards leveraging internal data assets for strategic and tactical decision making. The role will require you to (1) proactively review existing reporting & analytics processes within the business to identify best practices and suggest opportunities for improvements, (2) conceptualize and implement new Data Models in alignment with Business Scenarios and (3) participate and collaborate with multiple parties internally to build complex scenarios. Together with your business partners, you will ensure the delivery of sustainable analytics that supports the organization's long-term goals while delivering maximum incremental short-term gains.


The Business Excellence & Transformation unit is on an exciting journey to transform the reporting landscape of the organization, moving to reporting and analytics, insights and foresight that will enable employees at all levels to make the best decisions to drive business outcomes.

What you need is:

  • University degree (MS or BA) in Business Administration, Information Technology or similar
  • At least 1 years' experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics functions
  • Knowledge of BI principles, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling and Front-End reporting tools; experience in the following will be a plus:
    • Cognos Client 360
    • Tableau
  • Knowledge of Business Processes, Business Process Management and Project Management preferred
  • Present findings using graphic communication techniques
  • Advanced experience with MS Access, MS Excel VBA, SQL
  • Working experience with database environment -- understanding relational database structure and hands-on SQL knowledge to extract/manipulate data
  • Proven experience dealing with Executive Managers & Stakeholders
  • Ability to translate voice of customer and business-into real needs and transform them into data analysis for decision making
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Knowledge of Business Processes Mining, Business Process Management and Project Management preferred
  • Fluent in German & English (verbal and written)
  • Fluent in Polish a plus
