This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

* Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

* Fluency in architecture and design across all systems

* Knowledge in at least one area of technical architecture

* Strategic thinking and passion for business strategy and business processes

* Experience in risk and risk control compliance

* Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

*Over 10 years of experience in the BI and Analytics, Data Management space with at least 8 years of experience with BI/Analytics on Big Data/NoSQL platforms, and at least 2 years of experience with modern cloud-based Big Data consumption.

*Expert data modeler with deep experience on SQL and NoSQL data modeling and data access programming and tools (e.g. Hive, Teradata, Oracle, Cassandra, SQL Server, and Greenplum)

*Strong experience with Parquet and ORC file formats and data architecture and engineering, workload management and performance tuning of the Hadoop platform to consume data effectively.

*Experience with AWS cloud based consumption technologies such as EMR, Redshift, Snowflake, and Athena.

Experience with implementing and operationalizing one/more BI and data analytics tools such as Tableau, Cognos, Data Wrangling tools such as Trifacta, Alteryx, Cognos, and OLAP engines such as AtScale.

Experience with any data virtualization tools such as Teradata QueryGrid, Composite, Denodo, and Alluxio,experience with data consumption through Spark, Kafka, Kafka and Spark Streaming. Familiarity with Apache Flink, and Apache Beam is a plus.
