The JPMorgan Chase Audit Department is accountable to the Audit and Examining Committee of the Board of Directors, the Office of the Chairman, senior management, and global and local regulators. The department has in excess of 1000 staff, located in key locations across the globe. The Audit Department is responsible for assessing the adequacy of the control environment across the firm's lines of businesses through a program of audit coverage that is performed and managed by a team of integrated technology and business audit specialists.


The Auto and Home Lending Audit team assesses the adequacy of the control environment across the JPMC Auto and Home Lending businesses. This role is for an experienced audit professional to join the Auto and Home Lending Audit Team. The individual will be exposed to a broad range of retail products and services, interacting with senior business stakeholders, and supporting domestic audit executions.



  • Project manage the execution of audits in line with department quality standards
  • Partner with other groups within the Audit department to ensure the delivery of an integrated audit program of coverage
  • Develop and execute testing approaches to evaluate the design and effectiveness of key controls.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders, serving as point of contact with stakeholders throughout audit engagements
  • Communicate audit status and results to management, including issues and associated risk to the business
  • Contribute to a business climate and culture that encourages integrity, respect, excellence and innovation
  • Stay up to date with evolving industry and regulatory developments impacting the business
  • Obtain and maintain a professional certification
  • Be able to travel to locations domestically (up to 25%)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Economics or related discipline.
  • 5+ years financial service experience in audit, controls, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance preferred
  • Experience in project management
  • Organizing/analyzing data sets in Excel or other tools
  • Highly detail oriented, with excellent research, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Highly professional, self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize goals to meet personal and team objectives, work under pressure, and multi-task in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate key messages to all levels of the organization, including senior management
  • Professional certification, such as CPA, CIA or CISA, is required but may be obtained on the job
