Overview

Golf Digest is looking for a Manager of Audience Development to assist with developing initiatives to build audiences and increase loyalty on Golfdigest.com. The manager will work closely with the marketing team to create and implement content distribution strategies across all Golf Digest channels. The ideal candidate will be analytical, and data driven. This role will report to the Director of Audience Development & Marketing.



Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with marketing team to create and execute audience growth roadmap
2. Work closely with social team to optimize content posts and apply best practices across all platforms
3. Identify new growth opportunities and work with marketing team to test and execute
4. Work with editorial teams to communicate new initiatives and testing strategies
5. Partner with marketing and editorial teams to create SEO friendly content
6. Manage overall audience development testing strategy roadmap– work closely with analyst to report on findings



Qualifications

* 2-4 years’ experience in publishing, ideally having worked on both editorial and audience development
* Bachelor’s Degree
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills both verbal and written
* Understanding on-page and technical SEO ranking factors
* Knowledge of SEO best practices
* Detailed knowledge with publishing and analytics tools including SocialFlow, CrowdTangle, Facebook Insights, Parse.ly, and Adobe Analytics
* Strong ability to effectively manage multiple assignments across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
* Analytical self- starter, highly motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
