Amgen is seeking an integration engineer with experience and interest in building scalable integrations for enterprise applications. The integration engineer will have a real passion for developing and maintaining robust integration for On-Prem and Cloud applications to support critical business functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Hands on development of integrations and APIs using enterprise integration patterns and frameworks
  • Assist in the development of the integration platform using MuleSoft
  • Programming experience using J2EE, Design Patterns, JMS, SOAP / REST Web Services
  • Ability to contribute in a collaborative and dynamic environment


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

OR

Associate degree and 4 years of Information Systems experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 6 years of Information Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 + years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Deep understanding of Microservice design patterns
  • Experience with MuleSoft is highly preferred
  • Experience with AWS cloud platform technologies such as API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB etc.
  • Experience working with leading agile development methodologies such as Sprint and Scrum
  • Experience with Software engineering best-practices, including but not limited to version control (Git, TFS, Subversion, etc.), CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, etc.), automated unit testing, Dev Ops.
  • Experience with HTTP APIs and RESTful web services
  • Experience with integration technologies and practices as well as the business insight to develop overarching system designs
  • Good understanding of design patterns (Containers, Serverless, Docker, etc) is a plus
