Leads the management and execution of the U.S. Consumer Marketing social media strategy and its tactical plans and activities aligned to CNS brand launches and upkeep. Supports the execution of the overall U.S. Digital Marketing tactical plan, and the digital Consumer Marketing tactical plan.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the development of social media strategy across consumer, patient/caregiver, HCP and Corporate audiences.
  • Establishes social media KPIs and measurement criteria.
  • Manages the execution, monitoring and optimization of social media activities across promotional and product PR efforts.
  • Drives the execution of social media tactics across consumer, patient/caregiver and HCP audiences.
  • Partners with agency supplier(s).
  • Partners with Consumer Marketing and HCP Marketing to maximize promotional activities and events (e.g. DTC television, brand.com, CRM, sales-led events).
  • Assists in the execution of brand.com/DSE.com (including SEO) for both consumer and HCP audiences.
  • Assists in paid search/display ads execution for both consumer and HCP audiences.
  • Assists in CRM execution for both consumer and HCP audiences.
  • Evaluates innovative technologies and tactics aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Manages and monitors project budget(s).
  • Partners with and supports cross-functional departments/colleagues like HCP Marketing, Commercial Operations, Sales, Sales Training.
  • Participates in and adheres to MLR submission and review processes.
  • Develops and delivers presentations as needed to commercial leadership and other internal groups.
  • Adheres to all corporate policies and industry guidelines in a compliant manner.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills:

Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field. Minimum 2 years experience leading social media projects required. Digital marketing experience a plus. Healthcare or Consumer marketing experience a plus. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Must possess:

  • Experience with social media management required.
  • Comfort level and knowledge to navigate through social media categories and their tools.
  • Understanding of and experience with social media advertising.
  • Understanding of digital marketing.
  • Good verbal and communication skills.
  • Willingness and passion to learn.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to interface and collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals.
  • Ability to effectively communicate issues and results within and across functional areas, and deliver presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or timelines.
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Able to gain the cooperation of others.
  • Able to make and prioritize process and resource decisions based on overall team needs.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time.

Scope:

May provide guidance and/or manage functional area to achieve goals in accordance with established policies and to meet schedules and/or resolve problems. Receives assignments in the form of objectives. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions; determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Works on issues of diverse scope which require evaluation of a variety of factors ad an understanding of functional area objectives and trends. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may add to costs and impact the short-term goals of the organization.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment and independently from remote locations. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Ability to travel by car or airplane independently overnight up to 20% of the time and work after hours if required by travel schedule or business issues.
