The Role

We are looking for an experienced business program manager or consultant to join Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Marketing. Qualified individual will play a critical role in managing key strategic initiatives. Ideal candidates will have previous business management consulting experience and demonstrated leadership in supervising large scale projects impacting the bottom line, delivering organizational change, growing people and developing practices across different functions.

 
Team Description

You will sit within the Chief Marketing Office which is directly responsible for driving efficient, controlled and effective execution of our strategy throughout the global Marketing organization. The head of the team reports to the Global Asset & Wealth Management Chief Marketing Officer.

 
Job Description

In this new role, your first assignment will be to manage the Accessibility program for AWM, ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). To be successful in this role you need to be a solution-oriented and accomplished professional with a strong sense of ownership, initiative and conviction. You will work on a daily basis with Marketing colleagues, business representatives and partners across all functions, getting exposure to Senior Management and every facet of AWM.

 
Your principal responsibilities include:
  • Articulate program’s strategy and objectives for AWM.

  • Define, set up and oversee dependent projects required to achieve program’s goals.

  • Track program including budget, schedule and deliverables.

  • Ensure that approach and deliverables comply with internal governance, standards and policies.

  • Analyze and communicate alternatives, risks and clear benefits to facilitate decision making and issues remediation.

  • Conduct research and make recommendations for change and capabilities/processes improvement.

  • Engage and manage third-party providers as needed.

  • Establish quality assurance for project reporting and dashboards.

  • Schedule, prepare and chair strategic gate reviews and steering committees.

  • Develop and support delivery of training/coaching plan.

  • Advocate Accessibility standards and represent the AWM Executive Sponsor in Corporate and firmwide governance bodies/working group as needed.  

Qualifications:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree with honors from a top-tier institution.

  • 5 to 7+ years of post-graduate school business consulting, or successful project management experience, with 2+ years as team or program lead level in tier 1 firms.

  • Track record of direct collaboration with senior executives, being comfortable delivering formal presentations, with ability to persuade senior leaders to take action.

  • Strong analytical skills as well as capacity for conceptual thinking. Ability to develop frameworks for analysis, medium to long-term strategies that maximize business outcomes as well as enhance client experience. Must be able to thrive in a hypothesis-based environment within a matrix organization.

  • A combination of management and “hands on” delivery experience is critical. Proven ability to manage third-party engagements, stakeholders’ relationships, and provide direction to teams on a day-to-day basis, owning the responsibility for the program outcomes as well as the quality of each project’s deliverables.
  • Familiarity with Accessibility design and standards, degrees or certifications in User Experience and Accessibility Design are preferred as well experience in implementing Accessibility programs/projects.
