Our Team


As part of the AWM Operations Change Mobilization Analytics Center of Excellence this role will both be responsible for definition and maintenance of the core infrastructure while also delivering analytics projects and driving the adoption of analytics culture and practice in AWM Ops.  The successful candidate will be an expert in Alteryx (server and designer) and has the capability to use analytical tools to solve business problems.

 

This role is within the newly formed Change Mobilization team in AWM Ops where you will have the opportunity to be a key part of defining the ecosystem and capability set and shaping the journey for this transformation team more broadly.  Given the ambitious nature of this change program this role provides access and visibility to senior firm leadership and broad exposure across the full spectrum of AWM Ops.

 

Responsibilities

  • Alteryx Server: Collaborate with the off shore team to define the operating model and core processes for the Alteryx Server environment, including functions such as recertification of assets, surveillance of good practices and daily usage controls.
  • Alteryx Server: Plan and execute on Alteryx Version upgrades.
  • Alteryx Server: Consult and advise on effective usage and trouble shooting for Alteryx Server and Designer project issues.
  • Administer and track Alteryx Training and Certification process for AWM Ops.
  • Mentor personnel new to analytics and visualization capabilities.
  • Create and leverage analytical approaches to perform analysis of domain specific source data to provide accurate statements and conclusions.
  • Apply critical thinking skills and perform advanced analytics with the goal of solving complex and multi-faceted business problems.

  • Work independently and collaboratively (as needed) within the team to achieve the desired outcomes of an analytical project.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous learning mindset of the organization by bringing in new ideas and perspectives that stretch the thinking of the group.
  • Ability to build relationships and leverage subject matter expertise to driving conversations and/or influence decisions/direction with Business and Technology areas.
  • Effectively communicate with project team members and sponsors throughout the project lifecycle (status updates, gaps/risks, roadblocks, testing outcomes, etc.)   

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • Alteryx Core certification.

 Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Must have 2+ year experience with demonstrated ability to develop Alteryx Canvasses, Macros and Analytical Apps.
  • Must have 1+ year experience in managing Alteryx Server.
  • 3+ year Analyst experience in a large, matrix structured, mission-critical (preferably financial services) environment.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing / Data Lake / Business Intelligence strategies and architecture.
  • Proficient in conducting advanced statistical analyses, working with large data sets.  Has demonstrated ability to apply statistical methodologies to identify value add to the business.

  • Proven ability to strategically manage complex, highly-visible analytical projects from concept through implementation.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into a conceptual analytical and technical architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage all facets of the analytical project lifecycle (data exploration, hypothesis testing, code development, testing/validation, model deployment, etc.)

  • Get-it-done mindset with a strong bias towards action.
