The Team: 

The AM Global Sales Enablement Team is a newly created function focused on driving and optimizing our distribution strategy through an analytical data-driven approach. We are responsible for the entire client data life cycle in AM distribution: ingestion, governance, management, support, analytics & data delivery.

  • Organize, conduct and analyze client/sales needs with consideration of various roles (salespeople, business heads, business management, etc.)
  • Manage conflicting requirements with persuasive communication and negotiation skills
  • Analyze existing capabilities and identify priority gaps and opportunities
  • Prioritize deliverables among many internal sales stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with management, sales and technology teams to formulate a product strategy and roadmap for data, which is aligned with the organization’s data strategy and vision. This roadmap will focus on iterative and incremental development (agile), contain milestones and have dependencies on other applications and systems.
  • Partner with our UX/UI design team to get visuals/workflows correct
  • Translate requirements to detailed functional specifications for the technology development team, bridging the technology and business organizations and ensure we are building the right products
  • Work with Technology to deliver products, features, etc. iteratively and incrementally
  • Conduct and manage user acceptance testing with users
  • Redesign business processes and execute change management plans
  • Determine rollout and adoption strategy for products and features delivered
  • Manage expectations of stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the product and improve transparency into ongoing GSE capacity, statuses, risks, milestones, wins, decision-points, etc.

The Role:  

We are looking for an outstanding Product Manager with the skills and leadership ability to define the data-as-a-product strategy that will allow for our data to be consumable by other disciplines within our team, other product teams within the larger organization and the Sales and Marketing business within Fund and Institutional businesses globally in Asset Management.


The ideal candidate will have strong skills and experience delivering outstanding products and services for clients with the following abilities within the product development lifecycle:

In addition to the product management skills above, the ideal candidate will:
  • Possess an action orientated mindset and be comfortable proactively building strong partnerships with the technology organization to execute against our strategic goals
  • Have strong leadership skills to influence other Product Managers in order to define and deliver a holistic sales experience across our full suite of workflows and applications
  • Be accountable for product strategy for the data vision laid out by the team and clients; you will help determine priority, roadmap, implementation plan, resource forecasting and risk analysis and lead the budget process end-to-end with our partners in technology
  • Understand the current and emerging market structure that impacts an asset class as a result of regulatory, structural or technology forces within the industry and how this would shape products and applications Sales use daily
  • Establish the demand governance process with Sales, Sales Business Management, other Product teams, partners in Technology and other stakeholders (i.e. Compliance)
  • Possess commercial mindset with excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize information and present it back in a thoughtful and coherent way
  • If required and when necessary, put together a proposal to build and grow a product management team in order to deliver against our strategic goals
  • Prioritize needs and investments based upon user engagement, stakeholder engagement, competitive positioning, industry research and metrics
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing workflows and applications, such as Salesforce, is a plus
  • Strong practitioner of the Agile methodology
