An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join The Guideline Management Middle Office team at the VP level. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the guideline management workflow within the BETA Strategies investment product aligned team. Guideline Management is a critical function as it safeguards AM’s clients against transactions which may violate regulatory & client directed obligations. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for all guideline related inquiries, issues and escalations raised by the front office.
The successful candidate will ensure adherence to regulatory & client guidelines while continuously improving quality and reducing administrative burden through innovative solutions, they must possess skills enabling them to;
The role will also include owning and delivering initiatives aimed at driving efficiency, mitigating risk or meeting regulatory mandates. The candidate will be expected to have experience with technical improvements including testing front and middle office applications. The candidate will be expected to possess excellent communication skills allowing them to work with senior business members.
ETF Business: The Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) Business sits within the Beta Strategies organization. The ETF business spans both EMEA and the U.S. and an array of product types across Fixed Income, Equity and Alternatives.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an investment guidelines
environment
• Strong working knowledge of Fidessa products including Sentinel or other
similar applications
• Excellent understanding of the investment guidelines process
• Familiarity with internal/external financial systems (Bloomberg, Benchmark
& Index providers)
• Excellent communication skills; strong ability to articulate complex
issues
• Organizational skills; ability to track & troubleshoot complex issues and
drive solutions
• Proven ability to lead teams in complex environments, including influencing
varied stakeholders.
