Job Description:

The Head of Digital & Distribution Solutions for the asset management business is focused on creating opportunities, strengthening digital solutions, CRM capabilities, partnerships with JPMAM Technology & 3rd party organizations to deliver results that drive greater sales team productivity, automation through a deeper understanding of our internal salesforce and our clients.

This role will drive efforts that leverage digital and technology capabilities delivered by the Head of Digital, Global Head of CRM, Head of Distribution Transformation and our Technology partners to improve operational efficiencies, lower costs, bring change and transformation across the organization and automate analogue operations. This leader and her/his team will be also  dedicated to building business cases that unlock defensible and scalable opportunities, enhance distribution and our salesforce, and seek partnerships that deliver business and marketing benefits and loyalty.

At the heart of this role is an ability to strike the right balance between carrot and stick, between short-term improvement and long-term value, and between making sure appropriate ownership and responsibility is taken by the right stakeholders for change and personally ensuring they deliver results quickly and with suitably high ambition. Such judgment is acutely important when deploying limited resources across different organizational priorities.

As a senior member of the Global Asset and Wealth Management Marketing organization, the person will be responsible for identifying and developing insights into financial technology trends that are critically relevant to Asset Management. They  will acts as the face of the digital and distribution transformation, set the tone, spur enthusiasm, and challenge current wisdom.

This is a key strategic role that calls for an entrepreneurial and innovative leader with a track record in leading digital, innovation efforts, product ownership and / or technology leadership roles and strength in working with teams of digital SMEs, digital technologists, data specialists and data scientists, distribution specialists, engineers and experience design leaders to deliver sustainable and successful solutions, drive the operationalization of digital solutions, drive business process reengineering while following the right methodologies and delivery frameworks. This person will also lead and oversee the budgeting and budget performance framework always factoring workforce planning and solid program management.

The role will lead multidisciplinary teams located globally fostering international collaboration. The role calls for an inspiring and forward thinking change agent lazer focused in bringing growth, efficiencies and above all improve the client experience across distribution touch points.

  • Understand J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s business and distribution strategy, competitive assets, and market position to deliver distribution digital and technology experiences that amplify and support the AM sales and client facing  community

  • Accountable for the global CRM and Partnerships products and portfolio, satisfaction and engagements

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with new “disruptor” 3rd party tech firms 

  • Develop an acute understanding of the digital and technology distribution landscape in asset management. With the Head of Digital manage the roadmap and strategy, and ensure that the ecosystem supports the business’s ambitions.  

  • Create processes to analyze product performance, aggregate feedback, explore new strategic opportunities and together inform the product roadmap

  • Work with cross functional/disciplinary teams to design target state vision per LOB that align and support the asset management business’s end to end client strategy 

  • Be key to working with the digital, business stakeholder community and marketing to drive the overall channel distribution strategy and performance of digital and technology investments

  • Build a high performing team that can fuel AM’s distribution ambitions while empowering continued focus on automation, business process re-engineering that bring optimization and efficiencies

  • With the Head of Distribution Transformation, deepen relationships though increased usage of investments; from getting into unique pilots that help the firm maximize revenue and partner cross-functionally to make integrating with partners seamless

  • Forge and develop non-traditional distribution partnerships with academic institutions, key brands and channels that bring material growth, support retention, new business, brand recall and goodwill 

  • Work closely with the Head of Demand Generation & Performance Analytics, Sales Enablement, country CMOs and the marketing teams on go to market strategies targeting distribution specific levers of influence/impact

  • With the Head of Distribution Transformation, work on agreements with traditional and non-traditional partners cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple disciplines, to ensure our partnerships yield positive results and that we and our partners are positioned for success 

  • Through her/his change and business process reengineering teams, work cross functionally to develop operational models and augmented /automated new models in multiple geographies and countries that drive service and operational excellence 

  • With the Head of Digital, define and  enable the digital tools vision 

  • With the Digital & Distribution Solutions Leadership team, Head of Martech, Technology, Global Sales Enablement and business stakeholders, develop a roadmap focusing on  key functional and strategic areas 

  • With the Head of Demand Generation & Performance Analytics define KPIs and evaluate business impact for every Digital, CRM and Partnership initiatives

  • 15+ years of proven and deep Digital, CRM, Technology and Strategic Partnership experience with large multinational
  • International experience working for multinationals

  • An ability to participate in and lead strategic programs

  • A passion for distribution digital enablement, innovation and solutions  

  • Analytical, product and metrics driven
  • Strong ability to think creatively around distribution; approaching digitization, automation, efficiencies and demand differently, always pushing the envelope

  • Have the entrepreneurial drive and experience to implement new opportunities

  • Loves to get their hands dirty; care about getting things done, does not refuse to get granular as needed; not title driven

  • Ability to build capabilities that result in increased revenue and savings for the organization.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities including effectively prioritizing a significant workload

  • A strong cross-functional background

  • Depth and experience in process automation and augmentation and business process reengineering

  • Speaking to targeted audiences: the ability to communicate technical information to
