About the Role:

Reporting to the head of Digital Strategic Programs, the successful candidate plays a critical role leading user research and testing, and translating client insights into differentiated and relevant experiences for JPMorgan’s clients. The UX Research Lead will represent the voice of the user in our product development process through conducting primary research, exploring user behavior and motivations, and analyzing trends. This individual is responsible for spearheading the planning and conducting of user research at every stage of our products’ lifecycles: from conceptualization, prototype validations, through ongoing usability testing on final products. They join a dynamic team of product managers, designers, and engineers passionate about delivering exceptional software using iterative and agile development processes.

  • Coordinate, conduct and synthesize user research and usability testing in close partnership with product and design
  • Represent the voice of the client in conversations with stakeholders and during the product development process
  • Supervise ongoing UX and design activities to maintain quality and consistency across experiences and interactions
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify potential areas of opportunity and/or concern
  • Translate business objectives into client experiences using visual solutions and prototypes  

  • 3+ years of demonstrable experience in managing end-to-end user experience research, product usability testing, and/or related field
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to connect and empathize with clients
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as InVision, Sketch, and/or Axure
  • Comfort level using analytics platforms such as Tableau and Google Analytics 
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand, interpret and leverage data to optimize UX solutions
  • Team player, with a strong work ethic, passion for product-centric innovation and high energy levels
