Our Team


Alternatives Middle Office (AMO) supports Real Estate Funds, Infrastructure Funds, and Hedge Funds within the Asset & Wealth Management line of business. We provide key support functions to each line of business varying from daily trade oversight, monthly/quarterly trade subscriptions/withdrawals, regulatory reporting, fund accounting, trade support, etc. AMO works very closely with fund controllers, risk, finance, IT and portfolio managers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Updating and maintain various databases that house transactional client information.
  • Collecting data from various contacts, both internal and external, compiling and formatting into templates to track investor trades for subscriptions/withdrawals.
  • Completing and ensuring the accuracy of frequent data and transaction processing requirements.
  • Constantly looking for ways to improve processes and work with various parties to put changes in effect.
  • Ad-hoc tasks, project management, data uploading, transaction processing and business support functions.
  • Manage through issues that arise urgently and be able to identify and quickly escalate based on risk to firm and impact to clients.
  • Summarizing bank account data and reporting it in an outlined format.
  • Provide daily trade assistance to portfolio managers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience

  • Proficient in MS Office. Strong Excel skills are highly required

  • Well-developed quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to quickly learn new functions

  • Detail oriented and organized work habits

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work in high-pressure situations.

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Ability to develop good relationships with and gain the confidence of internal clients

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Beneficial Skills

  • Knowledge of Alternative Investments and fund structures

  • Understand the flow of information from operations to the reporting of financial performance.

  • Ability to drive and adapt to a rapidly changing business and technological environment

  • Ability to develop good relationships with and gain the confidence of internal clients
