Duties: Perform implementation, maintenance, remediation, and troubleshooting services for enterprise applications. Maintain production support run docs for each application, as well as analyze and drive to RCA (Root Cause Analysis). Automate repetitive tasks using automation tools and shell scripts. Respond to application alerts and issues. Troubleshoot applications and infrastructure issues within benchmarked SLA’s. Assist with testing and monitoring system changes. Adhere to standards and processes for incident resolution. Report production impact details to management. Support enterprise quarterly high availability and disaster recovery sustained resiliency projects and submit collected evidence to resiliency management. Collaborate with application developers or engineering teams to address issues requiring additional support.


Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or related role.


Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: UNIX; SQL queries; information and infrastructure technologies such as servers, SAN, network, database, mainframe, SFTP/SSH, or TCP/IP; performing implementation, maintenance, remediation, and troubleshooting services for enterprise applications; implementing, measuring, and improving processes, procedures, and activities required to ensure availability, utility, flexibility, and responsiveness of the production environment; Mainframe; and image repositories, meta-data, and archival or retrieval software systems such as iVault OnDemand. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: working with application server technologies such as Websphere v7 & 8, AIX, or UNIX; using or supporting standard interface protocols such as SOAP, MQ, HTTP, or EJB; working with DB2, SQL, SQL Developer, and ORACLE; and software development lifecycle, methodologies, and languages such as C, JAVA, or SQL.
