About The Job

​This job is a member of the Cargo Team within the Customer Experience Division. â€‹Responsible for leading the effort to drive increased customer adoption and usage of our online services. This includes the management of our online booking channels, and coordination of eFreight, a key initiative within the Cargo industry to move to paperless information exchange.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • ​Engages with customers and our sales force to educate, and excite them about our online features
  • Collaborates with our technology vendors and other Cargo departments to develop enhancements and address challenges that arise
  • Develops promotional plans and materials to assist with adoption efforts
  • Analyzes penetration reports to identify opportunities and track progress
  • Accesses industry direction and identify future needs and efforts to ensure American is positioned for success


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training


Preferred Qualifications

  • ​Cargo knowledge
  • Hard-working, team-oriented, and dedicated with at least two years related experience in a customer promotion role
  • Demonstrated success in championing initiatives
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, troubleshoot, and collaborate with other stakeholders to solve issues of a technical nature including electronic messaging, web technologies, online interfaces, etc.
  • A forward-thinking self-starter who easily transitions between independent and collaborative team work environments
  • Talent to effectively manage and complete multiple projects and priorities on schedule with a strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to maintain a high performance level and deliver strong results while still managing to have fun
