About The Job

The Analyst/Sr Analyst Cargo Business Process for Cargo Planning, Execution and Compliance – Project Payload works to ensure that business process outcomes are in harmony with the Cargo operations strategic goals. This person works collaboratively across all departments of the organization to help improve the management of business process in their area of responsibility. Their primary focus is on their functional area of responsibility, but they also consider the entire process from beginning to end, introducing innovation into the process which can impact results, enhance profitability and assist the organization to meet its objectives and goals.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • ​Gathers, generates, and documents requirements through interviewing and facilitation with subject matter experts or super users in their functional areas
  • Collects and authors meeting minutes
  • Interacts as necessary with their functional management to help set process direction and determine process priorities
  • Acts as a business subject matter representative on Cargo business processes in their area
  • Tracks and resolves project issues
  • Assists with quality assurance and quality control planning and execution
  • Collaborates with OCM and Technology teams
  • Helps estimate and work within project schedules
  • Tracks progress and provides project status reports according to the information needs of the stakeholders including, at times, executive level staff
  • Some travel domestically and internationally may be necessary

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years’ work experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner focused on Cargo
  • Deep knowledge of the specific area of Cargo processes (such as warehouse management, revenue management, etc.) is desired.
  • General understanding of project management methodologies for technology implementations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Build working relationships with business leaders, process owners, vendors and IT colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to maintain clear and open communication channels to manage expectations
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to support multiple projects and produce quality results all at once
  • Strong organization, planning, interpersonal, and negotiating skills
  • Strong analytical, estimating, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, and manage change and customer expectations
