  • ​This job is a member of the Asset Management Team within the Integrated Operations Division.
  • ​Responsible for contributing to AA's success by managing assets such as aircraft engines and components.
What you'll do
  • Manages the life cycle planning (selection, EIS, maintenance and disposition) of Engine, APU and Landing gear assets
  • Drives supplier negotiation strategies by performing extensive analysis to identify value propositions
  • Manages financial activities like annual budget and quarterly forecasting
  • Performs financial analysis and optimization to reduce the cost of operating AA's fleets
  • Focuses on making sure the operation is supported by ensuring adequate spares availability
  • Forecasts removal volumes for Aircraft Engines and components
  • Evaluates and implements production and supply plans that keep an adequate number of serviceable spare engines
  • Works closely with peers in various groups to coordinate and implement plans
  • Some travel is required
  • Must pass all background checks

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Bachelor's Degree in Business, Math or Engineering or equivalent experience/training
  • 2 years related job experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​MBA in related field

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Familiarity with probability/statistics principles
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with changing deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Work, Excel, and Outlook
  • Effective organization and planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to concisely present work to Senior Management
