  • This job is a member of the Training and Performance Assurance Team within the Customer Experience Innovation and Delivery Division.
  • Responsible for developing and performing detailed audit programs for Ground Operations Compliance.
What you'll do
  • ​Develops and performs detailed audit programs of AA and AAL subsidiary field locations. Audits include an evaluation of ramp controls, assessing compliance with established policies and procedures to ensure that employees and assets are properly safeguarded. Audit reviews will also consider the adequacy and effectiveness of established policies and procedures and the overall performance of the area being audited.
  • Prepares and discusses audit findings with appropriate members of management, recommends changes to corporate policies and procedures as necessary, and summarizes audits and prepares final reports
  • Builds/maintains strong cross-departmental relationships and pursues training to stay current with industry and audit risks
  • Ability to adjust hours, shifts and days off to meet business requirements and workload demand

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • High School diploma or GED Equivalency
  • Must have applicable valid driver license as required by local authorities. Must fulfill government required criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA)
  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges

  • ​Ramp experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Ability to adjust hours, shifts and days off to meet business requirements and workload demand is required. Must be able to travel extensively, on average 4 days per week
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and other computer skills
  • Ability to maintain, compile and distribute large amounts of data
  • Ability to accomplish multiple tasks within a limited timeframe and adapt to constant changes
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions using individual judgment
  • Cognitive skills to interpret local, state and federal requirements
  • Ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • Ability to perform presentations
  • Must have valid passport
  • This job is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing
  • Your previous employer(s) will be contacted to verify if you had any DOT drug violations and/or refusals to test for drugs or alcohol
  • Your DOT required urine specimen will be tested for the following substances: Cocaine, Marijuana, PCP, Amphetamines and Opioids
