Job Description

Lead and deliver all CRM Application System Administration Activities. The System Administrator is expected to have extensive experience in system configuration development, including, but not limited to, CRM and Siebel Online technologies. The System Administrator will document the technical design and provide support to CRM system users throughout the development, testing and support phases.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of CRM and Siebel Onlines
  • Lead and/or contribute to all technical aspects of projects - data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, configuration changes and custom development
  • System Administrative Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement
  • Conduct analysis of business requirements
  • Participate in technical design and documentation reviews of each system component such as configuration, data migration, integration and custom development
  • Collaborate with onshore & offshore teams in support of development activities
  • Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues
  • Work closely with business partners to realize the full capabilities of CRM and Siebel Online
  • Work closely with QA team to provide understanding of new requirements that will impact system configurations

Job Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or closely related field or equivalent
  • Advanced Developer certification desired
  • Previous work experience on an Agile team is a plus
  • 1-3 years of technical team leadership experience
  • 5 years direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • CRM MS Dynamics system configuration parameters
  • Broader programming technologies such as HTML, JQuery, SOAP, AJAX, Java script, Java, SQL
  • Web Services API
  • Object-Oriented software application design and development – Java, .Net, C#, Open Source
  • Knowledge of Web Services, XML, HTML, SOAP, JavaScript, PHP, Workflows, Triggers, JSP/ SP.NET
  • Knowledge of different database platforms such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server
  • Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to learn quickly
  • Extensive experience in software life cycle (development, deployment, and operations support) is required
  • Ability to lead and mentor developers – both onshore and offshore
  • Show initiative, is a self-starter, able to handle multiple priorities and has excellent time management skills
