About The Job

This job is a member of the HR Shared Services Team within People/HR Division. This position will be responsible for the timely and accurate updating of employee HR data within Employee Central and works with other departments (Talent Services, Labor, and Payroll) to ensure proper sequence of downstream interfaces.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Processes employee data changes to include but not limited to: seniority date calculations, organizational changes, personal data, and leaves of absence
  • Processes master data information requiring knowledge of collective bargaining agreements
  • Ensures accurate and timely documentation for all terminated employees
  • Provides user support to employees inquiring about information reflected on paycheck, pay calculations, and pay rates
  • Audits new hires, terminations, and retiree data in HRIS systems including contact information, cost center, job title/job code, starting wage and ensures employee record is configured appropriately for downstream system accesses

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
  • 1 year of work experience on SAP or HRIS programs

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with union work rule environment and processes
  • Ability to work with multiple PC based applications and systems including SAP HR, Workbrain, and MS Office
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and handle heavy work volume in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to research issues to determine root cause
