**Summary of Essential Job Duties:** Under the supervision of the Associate Director, ANM, and Administrative Services Associate, the Administrative Team Lead will share the responsibility of supervising, coordinating, and managing key functions in the day-to-day operations of the Heart Transplant Office such as managing staff coverage, assist onboarding new employees, ensuring regulatory requirements are met, assisting in quality improvement projects, processing Kronos and provide computer technical support as needed. This position requires a proven ability of independent decision-making on administrative matters and clinical understanding and experience in organ transplantation. The Admin Team Lead will need to identify, prevent and/or resolve daily operational problems relating to personnel, policies and procedures, office equipment and supplies, and maintain continuous communication with the office supervisor and management. This individual will also serve as the contact or resource person on department information and materials by other departments, patients, patient families, and customers. Must be comfortable leading a group of Patient Services Representatives (PSRs) and addressing performance issues. **Educational Requirements:** + High school diploma or GED required. + Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred. + Medical Terminology knowledge preferred. **License/Certification/Registration Requirements:** None **Experienc** **e:** + Two years of experience in a healthcare environment preferred. + Supervisory or administrative experience preferred. + Ability to type 60+ WPM. + Ability to edit material and ensure correct punctuation, spelling, and grammar. + Experience demonstrating the ability to handle multiple tasks with short timelines, to prioritize and organize work and to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner. + Must have excellent and clear communication skills (oral and written). + Must be able to follow-up on tasks until completed and update the Team accordingly. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook required. + Must be comfortable working in clinical settings and interacting with patients. + Must have excellent interpersonal skills and help maintain a positive work environment for everyone. + Excellent problem-solving skills. + Excellent customer-service skills.
