Academic coordinators provide Tuck faculty with vital teaching, research, classroom, event, and administrative support. Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities

1. Envisions, articulates, and implements plan for achieving academic and administrative support priorities; engages with faculty, staff colleagues, and other constituents to identify and surpass challenges; evaluates progress based on faculty feedback data; and updates priorities with direction from the academic support manager. (10%)
2. Coordinates classroom support and teaching activities for designated faculty (prepares course materials using Canvas or other learning management system, tracks student grades, manages audio-visual needs); plans and organizes event logistics for guest speakers and visitors; provides administrative, research, and information management assistance (responds to inquiries, drafts and proofreads materials, manages faculty calendars and contact files, makes travel arrangements, prepares expense reimbursements; conducts book, journal, article and citation searches, updates and maintains faculty website profiles and biographies; maintains files, records, and archival materials), and other activities associated with achieving academic support priorities. (70%)
3. Contributes ideas, input, and support to initiatives, decisions, and communications with academic coordination implications. (5%)
4. Collaborates with faculty, teaching assistants, students, visitors, colleagues and other constituencies to conceptualize, manage, and complete academic projects and assignments (10%)
5. Gains knowledge of and shares insights into pertinent trends and innovations through market research, participation in team discussions and planning, and attending training workshops. (5%)
