Course Management

• Work directly with the course directors and other members of the instructional team to initiate, prepare, review and monitor course preparation, development and implementation.
• Carries out the administrative and technological needs of the pedagogical methods (conferences, Team Based Learning
Problem Based Learning) including working with faculty, locating or rearranging space,
arranging for necessary services, coordinating schedules and overseeing actual event as needed.
• Maintains curriculum files and databases related to individual courses.
• Assists with assessment activities. i.e.: proctoring of quizzes, exams and review sessions.
• Work with Geisel Instructional Technology to coordinate interactions between the curriculum management system ( OASIS /Ilios) Room Scheduling System ( EMS )and other instructional technology systems (e.g. Canvas, Echo360).
• Work with faculty and course directors to build, manage, maintain and monitor multiple course platforms.
• Create Assignments, Readiness Quizzes, and Discussions within Canvas as determined by the course director
• Assist with curriculum mapping. Coordinates room scheduling through EMS for courses
• Coordinates with other offices and departments to reduce oversights in scheduling.
• Track attendance for required courses.
• Works to troubleshoot and solve unforeseen course issues related to the coordination and administration of the pre-clinical curriculum.

Curriculum Support and Faculty Engagement
• Support Medical Education Committee course review process.
• Work in collaboration with Geisel Instructional Technology to report and resolve issues within a course, the system, and/or the mobile app.
• Assist with Geisel Improvement Projects
• Interacts politely and professionally with and responds by phone, email and in person to questions from teaching faculty and students regarding courses.
• Collaborates with faculty to plan, coordinate, and oversee projects related to individual courses Main point of contact to address student needs related to pre-clinical curriculum.
• Interacts regularly with a wide range of faculty and staff members and conveys information on behalf of the courses.
• Provide faculty with attendance tracking sheets.
• Provides support to faculty with regard to visitors and patient visits for courses.
• Regularly handles confidential or sensitive information, exercises discretion concerning its disposition.
• Interprets, applies and explains office, department, and College policies and procedures.
• Communicates respectfully with a diverse community.
