Business Operations Systems Manager-Cash Operations Systems

The Business Operations Systems Manager within Cash Operations Systems will have hands on responsibility for managing and performing the functions related to the duties listed in the bullet points below and will be responsible for the overall health and stability of Chase Cash Operations systems impacting customers and business units and Coordinate all cash related system deployments.  Will also have responsibility for managing approximately 5 direct reports.


  • Update and maintain master release schedule
  • Coordinates activities and maintains all software deployment schedules
  • Defines and executes UAT testing for Chase Cash systems
  • Defines and track metrics for all pilot deployments and post general availability releases to ensure no adverse issues that could negatively impact the customer experience and performance standards.  
  • Research/resolves escalated, critical and other customer deployment issues
  • Works with product managers, programmers and suppliers to resolve deployment issues and communicate status/solutions to appropriate stakeholders
  • Creates/maintains Policies and Procedures related to software deployment activities
  • Attends/facilitates meetings and conference calls as required to address deployment issues and processes 
  • Maintains the central repository for all defects (open and closed) 
  • Coordinates and manages the defect list, which includes conducting weekly calls internally with all stakeholders as well as suppliers to validate defects, define sizing, customer impact and prioritization for fix 
  • Proactively identifies, recommends and implements process and other operational improvements based on business priority
  • Management of team responsible for system testing, maintenance and core application system support
  • Provide support 24x7 (including some night time support) to ensure customer cash orders and deposit processing is completed within service level agreements
  • Performs any other duties as deemed necessary to provide quality service for Chase Cash customers

  • Requires experience in project management and system deployments, releases, and UAT Testing
  • Requires leadership experience managing a team and demonstrated ability influencing peers and stakeholders      
  • Requires ability to think and drive strategic plans & initiatives
  • Prefer experience with Vendor Management
  • Prefer Business processes and procedures experience
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Prefer Audit & Regulatory understanding
  • Prefer understanding of Business' strategic direction
  • Prefer experienced in multiple disciplines/function
  • Prefer understanding of business applications and workflows 
  • Must have Advanced Oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Advanced ability to experience in workflow analysis and documentation
  • Advanced MS Office Skills
  • Must have ability to plan and forecast, hire problem solvers, manage relationships, delegate effectively, to measure the right things and ability to have flexibility, agility, and resiliency
  • Communication skills and knowledge of how the organization works
  • Team oriented needs to collaborate inside and outside of the company
