This position works closely with product managers, designers, site admins, and our marketing team to translate ideas into compelling, informative, and valuable visual designs. The Web Manager will build and maintain high-quality and impactful digital products to support NKF's mission and constituents.


  • Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to create sophisticated digital experiences using CSS, HTML, and modern Javascript frameworks.
  • Maintain, support, evolve, and own NKF's design system leveraging Drupal.
  • Translate static assets from web designers into dynamic web experiences.
  • Provide content management and creation support requested from various internal stakeholders.
  • Research, establish, and enforce code and design standards for maintainability, usability, performance, and accessibility.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, working closely with the Senior Web Designer.
  • Contribute to product and technical documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Degree or comparable work experience and training.
  • Experience with HTML and CSS (knowledge of Sass preferred) and Javascript (including jQuery).
  • Experience with designing and building responsive, mobile-first web pages.
  • User-centric approach to solving technical challenges.
  • Experience with Drupal and Drupal theming.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub.
  • Experience interacting with designs using tools like Figma and Sketch.
  • Experience designing and building HTML emails and using email marketing platforms a plus.
  • Experience creating, maintaining and extending a front-end design system or style guide a plus.
  • Ability to estimate, balance, and adhere to timelines.
  • Ability to present your work as well as create and receive written and verbal feedback.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player comfortable working in a cross-functional team.
