VP Real Time Analytics

Chase is transforming the way it interacts with customers by investing in data, analytics, and people. The goal is for Chase to become the undisputed leader in financial services by providing superior customer experience across all channels. The customers™ experience should be consistent and highly-personalized, whether they choose to bank digitally including Chase.com and the Chase Mobile App or use an ATM, walk into a branch, call the automated system, or speak to a customer service representative.

The VP of Real Time Analytics will help create the framework for monitoring our customer behaviors in real-time dashboards and providing actionable recommendations to senior leaders. We are looking for an experienced data-driven leader that will own connecting to real-time data, analytics/dashboard priority, upholding standards/controls, and delivery of actionable recommendations to senior leaders. This role requires close interactions across various functions of the company.

Activities include:

  • Develop and document dashboard standards for Real-time Analytics
  • Collect end-to-end dashboard requirements for real-time KPIs, behaviors, customer experience, and product performance
  • Dashboard creation, maintenance, account provision and data capture optimization
  • Design and implement effective data processing architectures and implement design improvements in collaboration with our data and technology partners.
  • Summarize large volumes of streaming data into meaningful graphs and reports.
  • Prioritize analyses, develop tactical approaches, and manage analyst work streams.
  • Present findings and recommendations for action to partners and leaders within the company
  • Follow recommended actions through to implementation track if the change resulted in an improved customer experience and met the stated goal/value.
  • Work cross-functionally with peers in technology, product, and other critical functions to develop a holistic view of performance and growth opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 7-10+ years in hands-on data analytics experience.
  • 5+ years™ experience with data visualization tools for real-time analysis such as Splunk, Tableau, etc.
  • 5+ Experience connecting, aggregating, and architecting data for use in dashboards
  • Working knowledge of building dashboards using streaming and/or near-real-time data
  • Technical ability to understand, design, and explain complex real-time data strategies to both a business audience and a data science or analytic user base
  • Hands-on experience in customer experience analysis (domain knowledge across one or many including: web analytics, customer segmentation analysis, contact center analysis, marketing analytics, etc.)
  • Strong problem solving, and analytical skills combined with the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate findings to peers and leaders in the organization
  • Inspiring team leadership and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on transparency, fostering teamwork, promoting exceptionalism, and modeling high integrity
