The CB Deposits Finance team supports all areas of the Consumer Bank Product organization related to the Firmwide Core Deposit Platform, Chase Debit Platform, Core Financial Products, and Deposit Services. This role is aligned to the Deposit Services & Cash Management team a team focused on delivering valued-added services/products that are core to banking services. Cash Management is inclusive of all strategy and feature development related funds access that helps customers improve or maintain their financial health.

As the key finance partner for Deposit Services & Cash Management, the candidate is integral in the deposit and cash management strategy, develops rigorous data- and analytics-grounded business cases, and analyzes performance of past product changes to inform future direction. Furthermore, as the subject matter expert on consumer deposit fee-related matters within the finance organization, the candidate partners closely with the revenue team on budgets/forecasts as well as providing insight into deposit fees/cash management performance to our finance partners (controllers, CFOs).

The ideal candidate brings a balance of (1) core financial and analytics acumen, (2) desire and discipline to develop a deep understanding of consumer deposit services, and (3) the ability to interface and influence senior product owners.

Responsibilities include:

• Become primary Finance point of contact for consumer deposit services and cash management;
• Partner with product team to develop thorough, measurable business cases to help articulate the impact of proposed product updates;
• Develop and communicate monthly/quarterly views of deposit services / cash management performance to senior leaders in both the product and finance organizations
• Partner with colleagues in the finance organization (for example, revenue team and controllers), to provide insight into deposit services strategy, upcoming changes, and budget/forecast guidance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial P&A or modeling experience (e.g., understanding of valuation frameworks, discounted cash flow modeling)
• Ability to think analytically, creatively, and broadly
• Strong communication, presentation, planning, and inter-personal skills. Confidence to work directly with senior managers to influence direction and provide a counter point.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency is critical; Working knowledge of Essbase is helpful
• Demonstrated ability to independently execute on priorities and identify roadblocks
• Bachelor™s in Finance, Accounting, or related field
