As a member of the broader Paid Media team, this role is responsible for 3 key areas of focus:

  • Channel Planning steward the media planning process as a Paid Media expert within the Chase Branded Card Portfolio. Be the central connection point and between lines of business, data and analytics, COE disciplines and external agencies
  • Partnership Building facilitate and execute partnerships with media owners that deliver on LOB priorities and needs.
  • Internal Education educate internal LOB stakeholders on the emerging media landscape and provide strategic points of view on opportunities, media trends and the competitive landscape

Key Responsibilities at a Glance

  • Partner with media buying, agency, and analytics teams to build media strategies that deliver business impact and measure and report on performance across media channels
  • Ensure audience and data driven marketing efforts are integrated into measurement deliverables for advanced test and learn opportunities
  • Manage multiple agency and LOB contacts in the planning and execution of paid media activity
  • Manage relationships with current direct publisher contacts to deliver competitive advantage
  • Deliver efficiencies through agency and publisher governance
  • Partner with analytics to develop test and learns that ladder into the enterprise learning agenda
  • Influence and communicate with stakeholders across functions (business, creative, analytics, technology, operations, executives, peers) and at all levels (CMO, CFO, President, GM, Directors, VPs, & Associates)
  • Champion consumer privacy as we implement improved targeting across paid channels
  • Maintain a strong focus on operational controls and efficiencies

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 7+ years of marketing experience in paid media. Experience in advertising technology and digital advertising a plus.
  • Experience in Financial services and/or highly regulated category preferred
  • Track record of working on high profile launches and stewarding the communication planning process and experience
  • Excellent relationship skills, highly collaborative; can build rapport and credibility, and can drive desired business outcomes
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into presentations that can be understood by non-technical individuals
  • Exceptional partnering skills required to navigate a large organization
