J.P. Morgan Commercial Banking is a market leading provider of Payments products to the Corporate Client Banking, Middle Market, Government, Healthcare, Not-for-Profit, Financial Institutions Group and Real Estate markets. The CB Solutions team focuses on end-to-end product strategy, client experience and sales enablement for Commercial Banking clients broadly, as well as the fit and positioning for each commercial segment.

This Vice President role will have core responsibility for the continued development and go-to-market plans for the J.P. Morgan Integrated Payables product into the Commercial Banking environment. This product is owned and operated by J.P. Morgan Commercial Card and we work in lockstep with them to ensure the value proposition, end-to-end client experience as well as operating model are optimized for Commercial Banking clients.

The role will report to the new Executive Director of B2B / Vendor Payout Solutions, who is charged with charged with capturing our B2B payout proposition including payment methods, channels, workflow and client experience. This is done to inform the overall investment roadmap and go-to-market plans in strong partnership with product owner teams in our Corporate and Investment Banking line of business.

Core Responsibilities:

Strategy / Value Prop Creation

  • Maintain and continue to develop the Integrated Payables proposition for Commercial Banking with particular focus on how the product fits into the overall B2B Payout solution.
  • This includes the incorporation of customer feedback and market research to prioritize new feature functionality requests supported by strong business cases that will anticipate client needs
  • Work with internal and external partners to deliver solutions and plan for launches
  • Partner closely with sales, onboarding and service to optimize processes and improve the client experience, ultimately decreasing cycle times and increasing client satisfaction

Go to Market

  • Co-sponsor go-to-market and commercialization efforts to ensure solutions are ready to be offered to Commercial Banking clients
  • Establish delivery milestones, budget, releases, client impacts and client servicing metrics in cooperation with cross-functional teams
  • Co-own client-facing enablement efforts with the CB Commercialization team

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant Product, Strategy or Consulting experience within Payments (Banking or Fintech) using a data-driven approach
  • Strong knowledge / experience with digital products and US payment initiation methods (primarily Virtual Card, ACH, Wire, Check)
  • Proven track record of collaboration with cross-functional teams to build better solutions and to execute go-to-market plans
  • Ability to build compelling presentations to elicit action from internal stakeholders and to positively influence client buying decisions
