Our enterprise manages a portfolio of capital projects on-site with a large contractor workforce that encompasses outsourced general contractors, A/E Architecture and Engineering firms and key trade companies in the Semiconductor Construction Industry. The scope of our work includes but is not limited to Progressive Build, tool install and new factories and site infrastructure.

This is an Intel Contract Employee (ICE) position and the location is New Mexico and relocation assistance will be provided.

As a Tool Install Project Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead Project Implementation Teams of matrix employees to complete multiple small to large capital/expense projects on site in any given year.
  • Accountable for all aspects of the leadership and management of the project team.
  • Responsible for the supplier management, day to day operations, major project scope definition, schedule performance and budget monitoring and control and communications.
  • Eliminate safety incidents and impacts to factory operations through thorough planning and execution management.
  • Implement Lean Construction principles and models is a requirement for this position.
  • Schedule/plan/conduct team meetings and project meetings.
  • Coordinate and ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders including clients and project owners.
  • Communicate with project teams and assigning them their tasks.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have one at least one the following:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field with experience in Project/Construction Management, Engineering, Tool Owner or equivalent construction leadership expertise.

  • Master of Science degree  in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field with experience in Project/Construction Management, Engineering, Tool Owner or equivalent construction leadership expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and expertise of the installation of process tool equipment is strongly desirable.
  • Medium/large scale projects and program management.
