Commercial Banking (CB) serves more than 30,000 clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. CB is comprised of Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries, Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries, Real Estate Banking, Commercial Term Lending and Community Development Banking. The Firm's broad platform positions the Commercial Bank to deliver extensive product capabilities - lending, treasury services, investment banking, and asset management - to meet our clients' domestic and international financial needs.

Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) exists within the Commercial Bank and provides loan servicing functions for all four JPMorgan lines of business. These functions include Loan Documentation Prep & Coordination, Deal Closing/Funding, Credit Compliance Monitoring, Loan Servicing, Insurance Reviews, and Collateral Perfection/ Management.

Within WLS, the Strategy Program Manager role resides in the Collateral, Documentation & Insurance function. This role will organize, direct, manage, coordinate and execute on key, strategic initiatives with a focus on digital automation, end-to-end workflows, and completeness.

Responsibilities include:

  • Define scope, roles/responsibilities, requirements, design, and measures of success with focus on prioritization and timely results to deliver project objectives
  • Complete current state analysis and help define the target state (e.g., situation analysis and process re-engineering)
  • Direct activities, monitor details, set priorities and provide status updates
  • Understand project metrics, critical path, deliverables, processes, identify/negotiate resource needs, ensures business counterpart readiness activities are complete
  • Coordinate changes in systems and/or operating model that will impact processes and procedures
  • Integrate effective change management and training techniques to drive end user adoption
  • Partner with organizations across WLS and businesses we support to identify cross-LOB impacted initiatives, drive changes through completion, and ensure defined project objectives are met
  • Manage issues which impact cross-release or cross-project; Resolve issues through mediation/escalation, issue identification & prioritization, proactively anticipate & remediate risk
  • Facilitate sessions and deliver to large audiences to including senior leaders as stakeholders; Produce executive communication using the right format and level of detail given the audience
  • Run disciplined meetings with a specific purpose/agenda, the right individuals and clear outcomes/next steps

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Operations or Program/Project Management experience required, with Loan Servicing a plus
  • Strong organizational and execution skills, including focusing on key issues and driving initiatives to conclusion
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across various levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to lead, challenge, and adopt to a changing business landscape
  • Flexible, working under minimum direction and making decisions independently
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with Visio a plus
  • Minimum Bachelor™s degree preferred
