SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Stations and Facilities Coordinator supports project, program and facility managers with financial and procurement functions, such as developing purchase requisitions, setting up new vendors, paying invoices and managing purchase orders in Amtraks Ariba-on-Demand system. This position will also provide support by managing the parking program in DC and will perform other duties as assigned. This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Facilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide logistics support including scheduling meetings, negotiating meeting space, room set up, meeting materials preparation and distribution, as well as arranging for and testing all meeting technology such as phones, video teleconferencing, microphones or projection
Review, edit, and revise appropriate documents produced by others
Reproduce, bind, distribute, and file documents
Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external resources involved in daily project tasks
Perform administrative functions, to include but not limited to, invoice processing, scheduling, travel arrangements, expense reports, etc.
Any additional assignments and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Solid communication skills with ability to covey information to others
Ability to coordinate with individuals in other departments to complete work tasks
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at multiple levels within organization
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project),
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have work authorization in the United States

PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
Experience using Ariba On Demand

COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

If an applicant/employee refuses to provide written consent for Amtrak to obtain these records, the individual will not be permitted to perform safety-sensitive functions.
